About Seema
I've always needed to understand things properly, not just be told they're fine. When perimenopause arrived, after years of living with Hashimoto's, that instinct sent me straight into the research. There was plenty of information out there, but it was scattered, contradictory and rarely reflected women like me.

As a South Asian British-Swiss woman, I grew up in a culture where periods, mental health and menopause were barely spoken about. I've since navigated perimenopause in a different healthcare system, in a different language. That experience shapes everything I write, and why I care that every woman, whatever her background, sees herself here.

The Hormone Harmony Network grew out of that search. Women are often handed isolated symptom lists, conflicting advice or the expectation that they should work it all out alone. THHN brings the bigger picture together: biology, symptoms, daily life, relationships, culture, work and access to healthcare.
